REDEFINING // TRANS IDENTITY

REDEFINING is a new series from Samuel Douek for INTO Magazine that profiles queer people around the world who are subverting stereotypes and redefining the labels that have been forced upon them. These are the grassroots role models at the beginning of their careers who in their own way are making great change.

For the second episode of the series we meet SPECTRUM, a filmmaking collective made up of best friends Zohar Ezra and Afek Launer. Following the success of their eponymous documentary series, Douek met with them to talk about their inspirations behind creating a new movement which challenges gender binaries in the middle east.
